I’m a Berlin based photographer. I grew up in Germany but spent a big part of my life, 17 years, in New York City and have more than 20 years of experience in the image making industry.

Photography is my quest to understand more about the world and the people around me and ultimately to understand more about myself.

When I’m working with people I see my main talent and responsibility in creating an environment where one can feel safe and relaxed, a space where you can be yourself. And that self is what I’m interested in, that self elevates a photograph beyond the pure physical, it lets the light of a person shine in real life as much as on any visual medium.

I’m very thankful for the opportunity to work in this creative field. Photography allowed me to meet people, I would have never met otherwise, allowed me to go to places I wouldn’t have gone to and enabled me to live in the greatest city on earth. It also allowed me to make friends that are very dear to my heart.
