It is very hard to do. We try to avoid it as much as we can. It is very uncomfortable. It is the unknown. It is very scary. We like to repeat the old; we like to know where we are going and what we are doing. We like to be safe. Change is not safe because we do not know where it leads us. Change is unpredictable.

But does safety really exist? Can the old really be safer then the new? How is that possible?

We imagine that repeating things over and over again is safe. And it is to us. We don’t have to challenge ourselves. But is there real safety in that? Absolutely not! Life is never “safe” it is always unpredictable. All the control, all the repetition does only exist to give our mind the illusion of predictability, safety and to put our minds at peace. But at the end the old is as unsafe as the new.

What do we lose by not changing? We do not grow because we do not challenge ourselves. Since we keep on repeating what we know we live a life with very little excitement.

Change is growth. Growth is change. Change is part of life. As much as we resist, everything is changing anyway.

Why not embrace change? Why not accept it as natural part of life? Why not change?
