A Quiet Mind
What happens when our minds stops its chatter? What would happen to our lives? What is the difference? How would it change the perception of our reality?
Nothing changes but the unnecessary suffering ends. On the outside our lives might not change at all. We might keep the same job, stay in our relationship and have the same hobbies but we do not suffer.
What does the mind do? It judges, it controls, it hurts, it spins, it is convinced to know but in reality knows nothing. It can’ t even grasp in parts what life is about but imagines to know why we are here and how we should live our lives.
The mind creates problems where there aren’t any. It imagines itself to be the way it imagines itself to be surrounded by a body and calls it “I”. Then it imagines the world to be a certain way and then the imagined “I” and the imagined world collide and create imagined suffering, unnecessary suffering.
We suffer without anything ever happening. It is suffering without any reason.
By quieting our minds we end the judgment, the control and the hurt. Now we can enjoy life, now we can find the happiness that was always part of our lives.
