I am reading this book “Free Play” by Stephen Nachmanovitch at the moment. Betsy Prioleau suggested it to me since she felt Stephen was talking in his book about things I was talking about when she interviewed me for her “Ladies Man” book.

I have to admit it is so far one of the best books I ever read. It is about the same theme this blog is about. How can we let go of our programming, how can we just play and how much this state of play enables us to channel creativity through us.

Stephen mentioned this quote by Martha Graham:

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening, that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”

Are we aware of our responsibility? Are we aware how unique we are? Do we have any time to lose to start unblocking ourselves?
