Even after many years of practicing to let go I am still drawn to extremes. I should have listened to my grandmother. She always told me, “Carsten the middle way is the best way!”

But it was never for me. I liked extremes. I either did or did not. I looked down on the middle way as boring and uninspiring.

This is true even today. I either do yoga six days a week or not at all. I either go to the gym five days a week or I skip it. I either meditate two hours per day or play Playstation instead. The moment I am inconsistent I lose interest.

The same applies to this blog. I either write on a daily basis or I feel the blog went down the drain and it is not worth putting in any effort any more.

Even though it would be great to be able listen to the wisdom of people who have spent a long time on this planet I believe we have to make its own experiences and draw our own conclusions.

I am tired of extremes. I am embracing the middle. Omi (grandmother) was right. :-)
